Established in the year 1965, Nandanvan Co-operative Industrial Estate Limited, located at Plot No. 173 (formerly 238), TPS 1, Thane, has stood as a symbol of collective enterprise and industrial spirit for over six decades. Registered under section 9(1) of Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act 1960 (Maharashtra Act XXIV of 1961). The Registration Number of the Society is TNA/PRD/I/117/ and same has been classified as the Producers Society under Section 12(1) of the said act, read with the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Rule 10 (1), approved vide sanction Letter No.TNA/PRD/ of 1965, dated 2nd December 1965. Our society was founded with a vision to empower producers through a cooperative framework—an ethos that has guided us ever since.
Over the years, successive Boards of Directors and Managing Committees have diligently stewarded the society through growth, challenges, and change. Notable repairs in 2014–17 temporarily revived the aging structure, but by 2021, it became clear to members that a lasting solution was needed. The consensus was strong: redevelopment was not just a necessity—it was an opportunity.
In the year 2021, after nearly 60 years of existence, it was realized by most members that it was necessary to seriously consider the option of redevelopment of our society, considering the state of the structure and the internal roads of our society.
With this resolve, the Managing Committee initiated the pre-redevelopment process. A dedicated Redevelopment Committee was formed, and Architect-PMC was appointed backed by expert assessments and feasibility studies under the current UDCPR-2020 guidelines, the vision of a modern commercial complex emerged as both viable and promising.
Following transparent and democratic processes, the society convened its first Special General Meeting under Section 79(A) of the MCS Act, Section 79(A) dated 3rd January, 2009 & 4th July, 2019, of MCS Act, 1960on 28th July 2022. Members unanimously approved the redevelopment initiative and reaffirmed the appointment of Architect-PMC.
Today, Nandanvan Co-operative Industrial Estate stands at a defining crossroads—ready to evolve. Our future promises a state-of-the-art commercial space that reflects not just our legacy, but our shared ambition for innovation, resilience, and growth.
